Has Barry Manilow just alienated the majority of his fan base?

maybe he has become too big for his britches. Yes, the 18-30 crowd, ( not one i am in) doesn't listen to his music, but hey, I love his music. Weekend in new England, is my favorite. that said, I agree that he should have just spoken to whomever was willing to talk to him. I have read reports that he is a snob. he shouldn't be: his career has been on the skids for years now. He should be grateful to whatever show will have him.
