Communism will not die as long as liberalism continues to breathe life into it. Your thoughts?
Liberals have always loved Plato, Marx, Darwin, Nietzsche, Whitman, Sanger, Dewey, Shaw, Wells, Russell, Adorno, Kinsey, Marcuse and Foucault. So do the Communists. Liberals have always had a love affair with atheism, agnosticism, naturalism, ethical relativism (especially the part dealing with ual freedom), evolution, multiculturalism, socialism, and world government. So do the Communists. Liberals have long been enchanted with Communism and Communist dictators and have fronted for them since the Bolshevik Revolution. Bill Gertz picked up on this point in The China Threat, p. 200. He put it this way: "But there is also a more sinister reason: an ideological affinity for China's supposedly 'progressive' brand of communism among top [Clinton] White House advisers and even the president himself. Going beyond the Left's long-standing and relatively harmless 'anti-anticommunism' infatuation, this blinkered view sees China as the last best hope for the triumph of Marxists ideas."
