Do you remember when your homuality/ity was first condemned by someone?

I mean real first experiences, not necessarily your coming out. I remember when I first discovered "self-pleasure," I would often think of those "pretty" rockers I loved so much, like Bon Jovi for instance. I once revealed this to a friend, who really freaked out and rarely spoke to me after that. This was the first time I sensed phobia. Also, it wasn't that I brought up the subject indecently or out of context - the guy was telling me how he couldn't stop doing it and thinking about his crush on some girl.
