(Ladies), Would you...?

So I'm flying to NYC from ATL for a day or two to see a speech/show(the event itself is about 8 hours long) by conspiracy theorist David Icke. There's this new girl that just started working at the same place I work. I'm traveling solo for this two day journey and thought perhaps I'll ask this chick if she'd like to come along, maybe even make it a date. However I'm afraid she might think the whole idea is far-fetched or even dangerous considering we just met this week. IDK if she has a boyfriend but she certainly seems to really like me(playful flirting). BTW, I'm 20 and she looks to be about 17 or 18. Also, I doubt she has any clue about the kind of conspiracy theories that this guy talks about so that could possibly turn her off as well. What are your thoughts, should I ask her? I have to make a decision fast, tickets are almost sold-out. oh yeah, another note, I will not be staying in a hotel. My plan is to stay awake the entire time. I'll arrive in the morning and leave either late that night or early the next day (haven't decided what time I wanna catch a flight out).
