Pacifiers soothe me, why do people think I'm weird?

Hi I am a 15 year old boy. I suck a pacifier, I do not do drugs, I bought a pack of pacifiers when I was 13 and they just soothe me. I am not lying. I am sucking on one right now. I sucked my pacifier at theJuly 4th celebrations today, people were staring at me. I suck my pacifier at school and no one cared. Why do poeple think I'm strange?
