Have we s been left out of all the fun?

Liberals around the world are celebrating Obama's victory, but somehow I'm finding it hard to celebrate. On the coattails of Obama's win comes the most sweeping anti-gay referendums in years. And the anti-gay measures were ped largely due to the huge turn out of blacks. In California, 47% of whites supported Proposition 8; 70% of blacks supported it. The people who got the great liberal champion into office are the very same people who voted against gays. How do you think Obama once in office will deal with the pressure from socially conservative African Americans to limit rights for gays, like overturning don't ask, don't tell?
