im 18 years old and i am almost done with my first year of college. my major was biomedical science and it was not easy for me at all. I finished my first semester with a GPA of a 2.2 and now I am very scared about my grades this semester since I already dropped one cl and one of my other grades in a cl was a C. I changed my major for next semester to kinesiology, so there are not as many challenging cles but since my GPA is not that good and is at risk of being dropped even lower, I know that my athletics and my chances of transferring to a different university is at risk as well. I was always a good student in high school and I did not become a party animal my first year of college. This past semester I think that my adviser put too much on me since I had to take Biology II with lab, Chemistry I with lab, Trigonometry, and English II. im not going to lie i got lazy at times but I always put forth my best a majority of the time and I still struggled in some cles. so im asking if i still have a chance of bringing my GPA up before I lose everything. and if I do have to leave school because of my GPA what I should do next and if anyone has past experiences like this, but turned it around.

First, let me say, I know it is highly inappropriate for anyone to show a child a private part, that is not what I am asking here. I am asking why is the so stigmatized like this? I have been searching this question from a psychological/child development/parenting/sociological point of view, but cannot find anything that really addresses this issue. For a girl, as a child, a mother may shield a child (even physically by covering the eyes) from seeing a , may forbid a girl from entering a room or area where there may be an exposed , or even the complaints to the MPAA that now requires movie ratings to specify if there is "male nudity?" (and not specifying female nudity) The only thing I have been able to find on this is parents asking how to explain to their daughter what a is, which has had answers such as "explain that boys and girls are different" etc, though that does not really even touch the issue here, I think it is important to ask why this topic is extremely denied and not discussed in a logical way. It is as if mothers are afraid of their daughters being ually scarred by something that does not have to be addressed in a ual manner at all, but more from the approach of "the penis is used to pee, just as the is." It seems like this causes confusion for girls from the start, curiousity about the penis that is not addressed until an intimate situation that could have been better prepared for, and maybe a sense of inadequacy as a female, especially since boys are almost encouraged to be curious about females. What Can I do About Fuzz on Laundry?

My husband got me a really nice fleece nightshirt and robe for Christmas and I made the mistake of washing them with the brand new fleece blanket that he also got me. Now the nightshirt and robe have little tan fuzz all over them from the blanket, even after I washed them again without the blanket. I don't have a lint roller, and I don't have the patience to try to take them all off with rolls of tape. Any other suggestions? I am now washing them for the third time with some old terry cloth towels in hopes that the fuzz will get picked by the rough terry cloth. Any tips would be appreciated.

Will the controls in my car work for an after market stereo?

My Jeep Grand Cherokee has controls on the backside of the steering wheel that allow me to control the stock stereo/CD player that it has. This way I don't have to reach over to the stereo while I'm driving and I really like this feature. The only problem is that there is no AUX input and I had gotten quite used to listening to my ipod in the car. (This is my new car. In my old Jetta I had an after market stereo with AUX input installed for this reason). I tried the itrip that plugs into my ipod and transmits through a radio station. I got nothing, only static. I had to hold the ipod out the window next to the antenna to get a signal. I am thinking about just buying a new stereo but I'm not sure the controls for the stereo on my steering wheel will still work. Has anyone had any experience with this?

My BF's sister is a problem?

My best friend, Melanie has a sister called Jessica. Both me and Melanie are 14 and Jess is 5. Mel and her family moved to Germany 3 years ago and they come to visit us 3-4 times a year. This summer Mel and I entered a dance competition and won a place in the finals which will be this autumn. Mel will come to England especially for it. No, I went on atkins years ago & felt like I was going to die. I did it cause I wanted to lower my blood sugar. I was so drained & didn't know until someone told me, that I had to have carbs. So I have discovered that if I eat protein like the size of a deck of cards (fish, chicken, etc) & carbs then I have energy. Just watch what kind of carbs you have. Instead of having a cup of pasta have some broccoli in it. Instead of eating a yogurt that has 33 carbs have a 16 carb cup. Just don't cut out carbs too much.

I personally would have read him the riot act. He's 14 and should know better than to treat someone with such disrespect. So my friend had, what looked like a big pimple on the back of his leg. He said it was extremely tender and every time he sat down, it would hurt. The pimple had managed to grow right on top(or under?) a hair. It also looked like something of a dark color was in there because the head of the pimple wasn't white(It had a grayish color to it). So he decided to pop it. After applying a considerable amount of pressure, he said it popped with an eruption and something hard came out of the pimple. Oh, yes yes yes....because these two are produced from each other! When do you hate something or someone? When you do not find 'LOVE', right? When do you love something or someone? When you don't find anything to hate that or him/her, right? So, to me Love & Hatred are synonyms in a way. Philosophically speaking, when you love someone or something, you just avoid hating him/her or that. What does that mean? It means, love & hatred were there----you just start doing one! Is she taking antibiotics? Tell her if she runs away she might not get far because her bronchitis could turn into pneumonia and then she'll be admitted to the hospital and might not get out for DAYS. Ask her if she wants that. I have an 18 yr. old and sometimes letting them know these things makes them think twice. I don't know what you've told her but this might help. If you're super worried, you might call someone to talk to her. It's funny how they listen to other people instead of their parents.

Great choice, I want one sooo bad. Either that or the Speed master. If this is your very first bike and you are still learning I might suggest something used though. My first bike was a Honda Magna. Great bike, had a bit of rust on it. Long story short I wanted a bike that I could learn on and wouldn't be too upset if I crashed it. Sure enough, I did. It still runs great, and it is now a project bike, but I am glad I did not buy brand new. If you are an experienced rider, go for it! I'm Jealous.

Pnuemonia recovering w/o treatment.?

I was very I'll the past 4-5 days. I took off work for 3 of them and I rarely take one off for anything. I stayed in, slept and drank OJ the entire time. I developed chills fever and my entire body ached like I ran a triatholon. Even my testicles ached the same way it was so bad(Too much info?). The aching and fever wasn't acommpanied by the phlegm, but I had so many cough suppressants in me, I may not have been coughing enough to notice at the time. Although I did cough a lot regardless. The phlegm that came was once during the extreme sickness and it was very small and brown. The phlegm that came during the slightly less sickness was abundant and lighter green with very light red swirls. I coughed that up about 3-4 times. I'm still pretty sick now but feeling much better. The phlegm still exists but it's only the size of a quarter. After all this I talked to a few friends and they screamed at how stupid I was for going through that w/o seeing a doctor. They told me I had pnuemonia. My questions are: did I actually have pnuemonia, or something similar, that you don't need antibiotics for? I'm still a bit sickly( chest and head hurts and still a but weak) can I go back to work w/o risk of being contagious. Should I still go see a doctor even if I feel I'm recovering? Thanks!

So i picked at a pimple on sunday night, and again on monday during the day. Then it turned into this scabbed over pimple. The first day, i didn't know what to do about it, so i just covered it up. The second, i put a zit cream on it. The 3rd (today) i have kept a bandaid with Bacitracin on it over it almost all day. It is looking better. I have heard that Aloe Vera can help to soften (if not prevent) scarring. Is this true? Would it be too late to prevent scarring? Help, please. 11 days late for my period, could I be pregnant?

I am 11 days late for my period which is very unusual as am normally like clockwork. On my due date, after wiping myself there was a tiny spot of blood so umed i was coming on but nothing. It is absolutely no problem as the rooftop bars are in fact rooftop restaurants. Its in the open air and they have no dark bar atmosphere anyway. The nicest ones in my opinion are the Sirocco bar at the State Tower and the Moonbar at the Banyan tree hotel. You also have a great view from the Baiyoke tower. There is a restaurant there, but its not in the open air.

They put me down constantly telling me that she could have done "so much better", and no matter what I do, in their eyes it's wrong. A couple of months ago I snuck home from work in the middle of the afternoon when I knew they were over and I poured a bag of sugar in their vehicle's radiator and ruined the engine. I was ecstatic. It was like the biggest high you can imagine- A complete and utter thrill. Ever since that day I have taken to other sneaky ways to get even with them. Every Friday they come over for dinner and I am doing stuff to their food. I know it sounds bad, but I have gone as far as using toilet water to make iced tea. Gone to the bathroom on the food instead of rinsing it. I have wiped my using a spoon and then stirred their hot coffee with the spoon so all the poo dissolves. I always spit in their food too. I have left marinara sauce out all night then made sure I served it to them hoping that they will get sick. I have let lettuce soak in a filthy sink that has food particles floating in it for days and then use it for their salad just making sure there is a lot of dressing on it. I have scooped up cat turds and put them in the same boiling water their pasta cooks in...and the list goes on and on. Whenever I do this stuff it is an extreme thrill for me and I feel it turning into a weird sort of compulsion. I get so excited when they come over and can't even control myself when it comes to tainting their food. I am now doing similar stuff to my wife when she makes me mad. Is this normal? Has anyone ever heard of this addiction before? Does it have a name?

Ok so i might be freaking out for nothing because i do that to myself sometimes lol but today i went to see my doc bcuz i had the mirena birth control put in about 3 months ago and lately i was noticing weird discharge that smelled odd which never ever happened to me and thought it was an infection. Anyways i saw the doc and he swiped my discharge with a q-tip plus did that thing where they put like 4 fingers inside you and press to see if there is any sharp pain and i was good on that department but when he did the swap test and looked at it under the microscope he said he saw a few white blood cells which meant i have a minor bacterial infection aka minor vaginitis. It freaked me out a little because it made me think of std's plus i never had this before in my life until now after having a baby!! i ony had 1 man my whole life but still. Anyone else had this problem?? the doc wasnt concerned he said this is a common problem and gave me antibiotics but sent the sample to the lab to make sure nothing is possitive... i mean possitive from what?? please help ease my mind a lil so i can go to sleep! lol

As long as you keep the paper towel moist, your needs will grow into little spermy looking things. You want to plant the seed tail down so that it grows like a root. My atoo bites everyone, how can i get him to trust people?

He's around 7yrs old, has a bad past- more then 8 different homes (most due to biting and screaming). Lived in a pet store off and on with improper nutrition, crappy cage, no one-on-one time.
